Commercial Development Group:

The Commercial Development Group (CDG) is managed by Deputy Executive Director Debbie Bowers.  CDG consists of revenue generation from manage concessions and property development and leasing at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) facilities.

The Commercial Development Group is responsible for commercial and land acquisitions, development of a concessions redevelopment plan, negotiating property leases, managing terminal business including tenant occupancy and concessions, property management of airfield and off-airport leases, land making value determinations.

To improve the level of service and to address concerns about LAWA’s responsiveness, CDG implemented a new organization that provides Business Relationship Managers to each LAWA Tenant. Business Relationship Managers act as a point of contact for LAWA business related issues and can assist tenants with concerns/issues related to tenancy at LAWA.  CDG’s mission is to provide the highest level of service to tenants in an ethical and professional manner, facilitate positive business relationships, protect LAX assets, and promote positive passenger experiences.  Business Relationship Managers strive to ensure tenant requests are resolved satisfactorily and ensure that tenants comply with airport and lease/agreement rules and regulations. 

Business Relationship Managers:

To improve the level of service provided to tenants of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) facilities, Commercial Development Group (CDG) implemented a new organization that provides Business Relationship Managers (BRM) to each LAWA Tenant. Every tenant with a relationship with LAWA has an assigned BRM.

BRMs act as a point of contact for LAWA business related issues and can assist tenants with concerns/issues related to tenancy at LAWA.  CDG’s mission is to provide the highest level of service to tenants in an ethical and professional manner, facilitate positive business relationships, protect LAX assets, and promote positive passenger experiences. 

Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) are responsible developing and maintaining relationships with all LAX, ONT and VNY tenants.  BRMs negotiate occupancy agreements with aeronautical users and government tenants for space at Los Angeles World Airports’ facilities, manage concessions agreements/relationships, and protect LAWA’s real property assets.
